About Me

JenniferHassouna.com is my personal home on the internet—a place where my life, work, creativity, and healing intersect. I am a storyteller at heart, whether that’s through photography, words, business strategy, or simply sharing my everyday reality.

Here, I document my travels, dining experiences, and lifestyle moments, but I also share the quieter, more intimate parts of my life—my routines, my reflections, and my journey through dialysis. This site is part journal, part creative outlet, part professional portfolio, and part reminder that life can still be full, beautiful, and meaningful even when it’s complicated.

I am many things at once: a photographer, wedding officiant, business consultant, mother, partner, and woman learning how to live gently but intentionally. This space holds all of that.

Inspiration

This website was inspired by the belief that ordinary life is worth documenting, especially when it isn’t perfect. Healing, growth, love, fatigue, joy, waiting—these moments often happen quietly, yet they shape us the most.

Dialysis has taught me to slow down and see life differently. Photography taught me to notice light, detail, and emotion. Travel and food remind me that joy still exists in small pleasures. Business consulting grounds me in purpose and problem-solving.

My inspiration comes from real life—unfiltered, evolving, and honest.

Vision

My vision is to create a space that feels human, comforting, and real. I want JenniferHassouna.com to be a place where people feel less alone—whether they’re navigating illness, chasing creative dreams, rebuilding their lives, or simply trying to find beauty in the everyday.

I envision this platform growing into a digital diary that blends storytelling, visual art, and lived experience—proof that life doesn’t stop because circumstances change.

Mission

My mission is to share my life openly and intentionally, without pretending everything is easy or polished. Through writing, photography, video, and daily rituals—like getting ready for dialysis—I aim to normalize vulnerability, resilience, and self-expression.

I also use this platform to showcase my professional work in photography, wedding officiation, and business consulting, connecting authenticity with expertise. Everything I do here is rooted in truth, creativity, and service.

Who I Am

I am someone who believes that life is layered. I am ambitious and tired. Strong and soft. Strategic and emotional. I love structure, but I also love flow. I find meaning in systems and sunsets.

I am learning to honor my body, my energy, and my story—without shrinking myself or apologizing for the pauses life requires.

What I’m Dealing With

I live with chronic kidney disease and undergo dialysis, which has reshaped how I move through the world. It has brought physical limitations, emotional reckoning, and deep moments of reflection—but it has also given me clarity.

This journey has taught me patience, compassion, and presence. I share this part of my life openly because transparency matters, and because healing doesn’t always look like fixing—it often looks like adapting.

What I Want to Do

I want to live fully and honestly. I want to document my days, create beautiful things, help people through my work, and leave a record of a life lived with intention.

I want to travel, eat good food, laugh, work, love, create, consult, officiate weddings, photograph moments that matter, and show up as myself—even on the hard days.

This website is my witness, my workspace, and my reminder that my life is happening now.
